At Darlins Doodles, we raise our puppies with purpose from the very beginning, carefully guiding their growth and development each week. From the first days in the whelping box, we provide a warm, safe environment that supports healthy mobility and early neurological development. As they grow, we introduce gentle, confidence-building experiences—exposing them to different textures, sounds, and objects like ping pong balls and ball pits—so they learn to navigate new and unpredictable situations without fear. Our puppies explore their surroundings under supervision, gradually transitioning from the whelping box to a larger toddler area where they continue to socialize, practice early potty and crate training, and build self-control through simple obedience exercises like sitting before being picked up. Each activity is thoughtfully designed to stack challenges in a positive way, nurturing healthy, curious, and adaptable puppies who are ready to thrive in their forever homes.
